We're missing Disney and talking about it!

Summer update

It's been an interesting summer. I'm sitting here recovering from Covid and reflecting on what the summer has been so far. I took a trip to Mexico, my wife was able to visit Boston with my daughter's choir. We had a great time playing some disc golf on Father's day. We picked up disc golf this summer and it's been a lot of fun! I would recommend it.

For the show, we've been a little all over the place. Mykhailo's schedule gets extremely busy and I've been busy with the above and my job, so we haven't been able to keep as regular a schedule as we try to keep. We did get to talk with Mickeyphile Podcast, which was a ton of fun and I highly suggest cheching out that episode. We talked about Marceline, but also touched on some Parks items. It was great talking Disney with them! Because of my illness with Covid, Mykhailo will be putting a show together with his fiance and putting that out next week. We then will get back to our weekly schedule after that. Please let us know if you have something you'd like us to discuss on the show.

Disney News has been pretty stagnant as of late. Other than the launch of the Disney Wish, not a lot has been going on. We did have Cosmic Rewind debut at the end of May which has had positive reviews and I'm excited to try it myself. Flower and Garden just concluded and we await Food and Wine to debut. Other than some character dining returning, there hasn't been a ton to talk about. I've been considering bringing back the news show (let me know if you would like that) It was fun to do, but not sure what everyone else thought of it.

I've been doing my homework for a trip to Disneyland that we're planning to take next year. I've enjoyed watching videos from Disneyland. Check out Fresh Baked or Best Life and Beyond for some great Disneyland content. There are so many little things that I can't wait to check out on my own. The history at Disneyland, of course, is amazing and it will be great to explore so much of that history. I plan to check out the Diamond Horseshoe, the Mark Twain and of course the lamp in Walt's Apartment. But did you know there is a tree that has been kept there from the original owners orange Orchard? It's things like that that get me excited and I can't wait! Have you been to Disneyland? Do you have some suggestions for me?

Well as summer goes on, I still have some camping to do with my family. I get to see Drum Corps for the first time in a very long time. My kids have a summer camp and my son is playing Audrey 2 in the high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors. It's going to be fun! I hope your summer is shaping up to be a great one and full of great memories.

As always, please reach out through the website or find us on Facebook. Thank you for listening!
